“Maritime tourism infrastructure must be provided,” the Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts said on the sidelines of a visit to Hormoz Island.
“Maritime tourism in our country is very weak and with 5,000 kilometers of coastline in the south and north and numerous and unique islands, we have not been able to:” “Let’s use the capacity of maritime tourism.”
“A large part of the wharves are old and need to be rebuilt,” said the Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts, noting that infrastructure for maritime tourism must be provided.
He continued: “One of the maritime tourism projects in Hormozgan is a cruise ship that has been ready for eight months and has a legal problem to launch. “The necessary consultation was made so that, God willing, the ship would be launched at sea soon.”
“Launching the maritime tourism industry can help the economy, and infrastructure must be prepared so that more people can travel to Hormozgan province and its islands,” Zarghami added.
